One of my favorites is the one he uses when Bond suspects that someone is waiting to ambush him in his hotel room - Bond takes his gun, sneaks up on the outside of the hotel room door, slowly turns the key, throws the door open, and crouches in a shooting stance to confront the lurking villain.
