		<description>I appreciate certain literary images that Fleming uses. One of my favorites is the one he uses when Bond suspects that someone is waiting to ambush him in his hotel room - Bond takes his gun, sneaks up on the outside of the hotel room door, slowly turns the key, throws the door open, and crouches in a shooting stance to confront the lurking villain.  Then Fleming writes "The empty room sneered at him...."  Great stuff! Another variant is "The empty room yawned at him..", used in Dr. No.</description>
